I will always love this scene. Claire is slowly becoming aware of not just how fond she is of Jamie, but how deeply attracted she is to him. Both physically and emotionally. It's confusing and scaring her. It's unlike anything she's ever felt before, not even her love for Frank can testify that.

Whilst I wish more men were like the character there are good men out there, it's just a matter of finding one that fits you as you do him. I love how scandalized he is by the suggestion of sleeping in her room. Very well acted! I wish more period shows/movies would try to be truer to the times they're set in. If Outlander had been entrusted to anyone else there'd be anachronistic music and fashion, and modern values all over it. Jamie would've stayed with her without blinking an eyelash, they'd get it on all night, and there would be no consequences for Claire at all. I really appreciate it when creators respect the idiosyncrasies of a period in time!
