Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore & Traverse City State Hospital

In this video we explore Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore and Traverse City State Hospital. Both of these activities are great to do after work if you are a fulltime RVer.
While camping at Traverse City State Park, we make the short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National LakeShore. While there our good friend decided to do the Sleeping Bear Dunes climb. This is not recommended by
Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, and there is a 3000.00 fine if you need to be rescued. The following day we make a ten-minute drive from Traverse City State Park to Traverse City State Hospital. While we are waiting for our twilight hospital tour to start, we walk around the Village at Grand Traverse Commons. The lower section of this State Hospital was converted into a bunch of shops and restaurants. Our tour is incredible and we highly recommend adding this to your travel plans for Traverse City Michigan.

Well, way back when I was in cosmetology school in TC and 1 day we went to the State Hospital to cut residents hair. OMG , as we entered the building doors locked behind us and we finally entered a huge room many eyes were on us- pretty creepy to say the least. 18 years old, this left a lasting impression something I will never forget
