How I set up my bed to sleep in the backseat. Good for RV Transport or hotshot drivers. Comfortable way to get some good sleep.

Why cut it? It’s foam, it smooshes (squrish). You might accidentally create the beginnings of a pillow and at least keep yourself from activating windows/locks. Most of the video was stuff you didn’t need to do. I like your base. Glad you did the video and happy it works well.

That was interesting. Good to hear that it works for a 6'4" guy. A little over that myself, so I had concerns about length. Still wondering if you could enlarge into front seat area to get even more space.

You could remove the front seat and sleep front to back for more length. But it's also going to depend on what kind of electronics your truck has. I could not do that in my truck

I'm getting ready to start on this today. I already have a mattress from a hospital bed. I'll be installing a portable AC first which will be in the corner behind the driver's seat so I imagine that my feet will go at that end. I might remove the front passenger seat and run the bed that way, but I'm going to try just the back seat for now.

That's just a standard zipper with the handle removed. That's why you have to lift and pull by the handle to unzip anything...

A small battery with a piece of wire can be used to cut the foam as well.
