if share only my own opinion. I believe everything is right as you mentioned. Some people need more sleep to feel better, some people are oppositive, the more they sleep worse feel...Also, we as humans are more difficult creatures of evolution, so obviously, our psychological, and physiological health needs are different perude time to recovery. All the practices you mentioned as I know from my own experience and other people, work for everyone differently and are not suitable for everyone.
