Brilliant pal, well done, facing some of nature's primal fears and switching the senses up to GFO mode. It showed how the talking to a camera or even a rugby ball can help calm the mind, I expect without the camera that experience would be insaaaannne. Couple of rules of thumb when sleeping where there might be rats (everywhere): Don't sleep next to a wall - they run along corners and edges to navigate in the dark. If you find rat corpses, put them near your bed. They'll keep their distance if they smell dead rat. Learned the hard way...

Just down the road from Staithes. Used to stay there with our school at the old army/pow camp at the top of the hill. That was 43 years ago! Fook im getting old! I remember when port Mulgrave still looked like a port and we explored the double tunnels at the top of the harbour.....Good times!
