I like the wing valve! I have always had issues with the flat valves that a lot of pads come with. They are hard for me to open and I usually have them start to leak after a while. The wing lock valve has worked very well.

Hi great video I se myself Nemo ATLAS long wide and an Exped flexMat plus ,down to - 10 degrees in the winter here in Norway ,And they worked perfectly . Keep up the good work you are doing .Greetings from NORWAY ..

No matter the pad you use, the joints always hurt :) . I've used the NeoAir Xtherm for a few years now and loved it. Once I learned Nemo came out with a wider pad I purchased it. I'm a side sleeper so the wider is better. Thanks for the videos!

I started out (1967) with GI poncho liners, to ensolite, to Ridgerest, to self inflating and finally inflatable insulated pads. My current fave like you is a Nemo Tensor. I back it up with a cut down Zrest Sol as a back up and to raise my combined R values.

I tried 3- outdoorsmanlab, klymit static V, and the thermarest uberlite until I finally found Nemo Tensor- I love that pad and that pump sack is the bomb!

The Xtherm is a fantastic pad in colder weather. Love mine for winter camping. Not overly heavy for the warmth it provides.

I’ve had the older version of the Nemo tensor for about 5 years now, many thousands of miles and many airports. It’s a bit heavy, but if you take care of it, it’ll last ages

You must be the only person in the world that believes that the Nemo Tensor Insulated pad is noisier than a Therm-a-rest lol...

Try an Exped Synmat. especially the one designed for winter. you will love it.

I have the Therm-a-Rest and don’t find it as noisy as many find it. Keeps me very warm and my 55-year-old body relatively pain-free.
