I have gotten goosebumps every time I listen to this. I found this song at 14 and am 25 and this song has only become more true throughout these years. From 10 years to 25 I have probably only seen him maaybe 5 times. I know he doesn't love me. I know he doesn't care. But I still love him. I still want a relationship with him. I have come to realize how important a father is in a girl's life. Thankfully I have the most amazing mother. It doesn't take away the pain of not being loved by my Dad though.
