This song hit me hard as a veteran. I gave it all. I saw things I didn’t want to see. I got hurt for the rest of my life. My kids look at me strange when I can’t cope or relate to civilians, can’t be around crowds. Can’t explain why I’m scared. Cant explain 19 hours of chaos and saving ppl. Can’t explain how many I sent to die on the tables that day because we just couldn’t save them, they were hurt too bad and I had to decide who We could or couldn’t fix fast, for hours. “Who will fix ME now?”
@High-Octane.11 Жыл бұрын
I know this is a year late, I hope you're doing at least a little tiny bit better. But if you haven't yet, PLEASE look into EMDR. Its draining, but its hope into not living the permanent hypervigilant life. It will help a lot because its based off the fact of not being able to talk about things. I've seen it firsthand. It helps tremendously. What happened to you is a physiological thing. Your brain went into flight or fight mode and did what it had to do to survive. And now you're stuck in that fight or flight mode. Idk what you had to do or what you had to see. But whatever it was, you didn't deserve that. And I hate you're one of the people that has to permanently deal with other peoples fucked up decisions. And you sure as hell didn't deserve that either. You, are not broken. The wires in your brain are. It's not a matter of resilience, but again of what your brain had to do. So now your brain and body wants you to go through the same shit over and over. Mentally, and physically. Unfortunately theres no way to know who will get that. No one will understand it, or the demons unless they live the way you do. But I get it, trust me I do. You see the world in a way different light than other people and it can be an even more fucked up and scary place through your eyes. And all you want to do is avoid anything and everything because it's just too hard to take. And you just want to live a normal fucking life. It's funny people look at us like we're fucked up in the head but not the fucks who put us there right? I get what you're going through to a point. But please. There is still hope. Idc how badass anyone thinks they are, this shit will bring the strongest to their knees. Fuck those demons. But you will need help. Do it for your kids, family. But most of all do it for yourself. You've fought well past long enough. Wish you nothing but the best sir. You got this. 💪🏼

Definitely tuning on this, but only a small bit. You can hear it at the beginning with the minute wavering and wobbling in words like ‘wish you‘ and ‘deeper and deeper‘. In no way a criticism though, it’s a beautiful performance and regardless of anything, if his voice was terrible (which it quite clearly isn’t) tuning would do little more than tune a terrible voice.

You never know when the moment hits when you feel everything is just too much to get through it, it takes what seems like moments to fall over that edge into that hole that you spent years climbing out from and just giving up. It has happened so many times in my life that each time it feels like I wont be able to get out again. I am 40 now and its still a struggle every day to not drown, but having someone in your life that cares anough to save you over and over again makes life worth struggling through. As long as you have someone to help you not drown in yourself makes it worth fighting. I thank whatever fate brought my wife on my road in life all those years ago because without her I would have given up years ago.

@@ProphetGaming36 But they are still BMTH though. You people just need to accept that the band is evolving just like Linkin Park had. They can't be emo forever. It gets old. Im sure you can tell but I love 'Amo' I think its a great album admittedly its no Sempiternal buts its still amazing and shows how much his vocals have improved. Also if it weren't for the band evolving the way it has Oliver's singing wouldn't have improved as fast as it has. These BMTH can only go up from here.

Sometimes it feels like you're drowning in memories, especially when you think about those special people who were always there for you in the past.
