well that makes sense. This is probably the most diverse cast on tv. For a "small town" it sure is diverse with Black/White/Hispanic/Asian/Native American. I think every group has been represented in the show so far lol. I also love the main actress and I'm so excited for Abby to meet Katrina.

The took a couple weeks off. A lot of shows do it when they're first starting out. They only made a few episodes to begin with in case it got picked up. Once some higher up gave the go ahead ( probably a little before or after the pilot premiered) they went and made more episodes. They take the 3 weeks off so they can finish up the last episodes in the season and stay on schedule.

I totally agree with you!! Ichabod wants to free his wife, Katrina. In 'John Doe' they embraced and kissed and it was cute and I was all "nawww!" He obvs wont be dying - he's the lead in the TV show, its all about him! lol I hate knowing that something as been renewed because then the cliffhanger that they end on isn't a cliffhanger at all :p

It sucks we have to wait three weeks just to see this episode. I highly doubt Ichabod will die because the show has been renewed for another season as of October 3rd. He probably does think that's the only way to stop the Horseman because both were brought back because of the other. And regardless of what may or may not be happening between Ichabod and Abbie, there is a friendship and trust building there so I felt for her when he told her about dying and she started crying

Look I know you've received a lot of "hate" for your comment but please don't be grumpy on me. I wasn't giving you an order; I wanted to refer you a TV show that had plenty of what you were asking for (in case you haven't seen it already). With my 500 character limitation I didn't know how to express it better so it would seem less authoritative. As for Ichabbie, I hope you enjoy the show no matter what the writers decide to do with their relationship; in the end it doesn't really matter.

preachhhhhhhhh even in comics, black women are always portrayed to be some badass kickass hard working wonder woman in order to get recognition from the lead male character and that pisses me off sometimes... when can we be the main princess in the tower?.... even disney didn't give us that luxury to dream about.

Just for clarification Ichabod is no longer married (till death to us part) so his marriage ended when he died, one thing Ichabbie romance won't be until the 3rd or 4th season its going to be a slow burn as far as i can see.

And there are actually plenty of shows out there where the main characters don't end up together. Like 30 Rock, Black Books, the Mentalist, Torchwood, Community, Stargate Atlantis, the IT crowd, Person of Interest, Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23, Criminal Minds, The Blacklist (I know it's brand new, but nothing would ever happen with them). There are lots more but that's all I can think of the top of head.

He is a man with values and traditions, but he is certainly in a completely different circumstances and environment. yes if it's in his usual time and place he would do that. but he just rose from the dead after 250 years, the world is different, everything is confusing, there is no telling what will happen and how he will act. I don't see why their friendship can't develop slowly into something unexpected to both of them.

yeah it's great writers say that, but writers alone don't control the show - there is still a general audience, there are still network execs and enough writers have been kicked off shows or forced to leave in order for writing the same romantic love triangles to happen on a show that was said it would be organic - I would still see it as typical either way, two leads getting together - he already respects her, why not let them just be close friends/soulmates in a platonic way

I agree that not every show has to do the whole male/female friendship turn romance thing. But i think you need to judge each show separately, if the characters have chemistry beyond friendship then I think it's fair to do it. But even if they do decide to do something along the romance lines, it's not going to happen any time soon. Ichabod is married, and it would be completely against his character for anything to happen between him and Abbie.
