If cops come around your office again, I would stop letting them in. In fact, I would only talk to them if they come with a valid reason, like a noise complaint. If they're just poking around, I wouldn't give them an excuse to find something to bust you for. For all you know, you're legally using your place of business. The cops, however, might know of some archaic law concerning businesses, warehouses, or whatever district you're in. As always with cops, be polite, but remember your rights. In fact, if they noticed that you're feeding those foxes, or they ask what the food bowl and water are for and you admit to it, they could get you on some sort of wildlife charge. Last thing I would think you guys would want is a fine of hundreds of dollars for trying to help some animals. It is generally against the law to feed wild animals. This is actually a great example of why it can be unwise talk to cops casually. Anything you say to them can and will be used against you if they so choose.

I think part of that is because Sleepy Cabin is a podcast but I think a lot of it is because they are trying to consider a much more diverse and larger audience. I used to work in a smoke shop and their database doesn’t acknowledge tickets that were not put in the system upon purchase, meaning the clerk has to manually scan every single one or input a range of ticket numbers, all of which means the tickets in question could have amounted to a weighty court ruling and were worth their weight in paper.

I worked at a 711 for a little while. You activate all the scratchy lottos before you put them on display in the glass on the counter. So all the scratchy lottos you see are already activated, meaning if someone did get a chance to grab a couple stacks worth, that person would totally be able to redeem them at another store. Also, if you know how to go about grabbing them they could be jacked pretty easily. Trust me, considering I worked at a convenience store, people stealing stuff isn't the first thing on your mind.

Okay, storytime about my own "taco" story. One day, after a long night of gaming, I was getting ready to go to bed. It was about midday. I hear a call from downstairs, and the kitchen. It's my mother. She says,"Hey, I bought some Cuban sandwiches to big long Cuban sandwich. Come get some." I told her I was very tired, and I would get some when I wake up. She responded "okay, it will be on the table" Well after a very long nap, I wake up with a massive hunger, and all I can think about is that very delicious Cuban sandwich downstairs. At this point in time, it's like the only thing I want. When I finally get downstairs, I'm greeted with the sight of a long delicious Cuban. Maybe like two 3 ft long. I grab a plate, and as I go to grab a cut section of it, I realize that none of the sandwich has any meat on it. I am groggy and confused, but I noticed a trail of chopped lettuce to a chair, then onto the ground. Is at that moment I noticed that my small min pin had a small piece of lettuce on the side of its mouth. I then made the sudden realization That this tiny dog had eaten all the meat off of the entire sandwich. I picked her up with nothing but pure rage in my body. But as I looked at the trembling dog in my hands, I realized that this dumb little dog didn't know any better. My family knew she liked to climb chairs, so it was kind of our fault she was able to get up there. So, I calm down, put her down, Pat her on the head, and made myself a regular ass sandwich.

when i worked at a grocery store called safeway i asked the question about the lottery tickets. the guy i asked said when they come into the store you dont have to activate it like its a gift card you could basically scratch it as they came in. and there was no way to trace that the ticket was stolen. but this was 7 years ago. i dont know if things have changed since then

The electronic lottery tickets are activated when they're printed. Scratch offs come in sleeves and when the vendor opens a new sleeve they activate the whole thing, so if you steal an unopened sleeve they're worthless but if they're already activated you can cash 'em anywhere.
