These seven newborn kittens are only two days old and are already showing off their unique personalities! While their mother cat is overwhelmed by her large litter, I help them out by feeding and cleaning up these tiny babies. Lulu the cat, with her big appetite, takes the lead during feeding time. Afterwards, the kittens settle down for a peaceful nap next to their loving mother. Join us to see these little kittens' first days in life! If you're interested, I've left a link to the feeding nipples at the end of the video ✅ Subscribe to my channel ↓ kzbin.info/door/vIc17HHXS-Sb1IilBb45vA

Mother's milk hels the kittens to building their immunity
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Absolutely, mother’s milk is crucial for building the kittens' immunity, and I completely agree. That’s why their mom is still nursing them most of the time. I’m just supplementing their feeding to make sure everyone gets enough, especially in such a large litter. This way, the kittens get the best of both worlds-mom’s milk for immunity and a little extra support to help them grow strong.

I guess you all have never seen more than three kittens fight at the dinner table???They have to have all the nutrients they can get in the first days of life...They are so precious..
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Absolutely! It’s amazing how much energy those little ones have when it’s feeding time. With so many kittens competing for a limited number of nipples, it can get pretty intense. That’s why I’m supplementing their diet with extra milk to make sure they all get the nutrients they need during these crucial early days. They are indeed precious, and I’m doing everything I can to help them thrive. Thanks for your understanding and support! 😊

I totally understand! I try to give the mama cat her space when she’s alone with her kittens, but I’ll do my best to capture a few moments of them nursing together in future videos. Thank you for your suggestion, and I appreciate your understanding! 😊💖

Veliki pozdrav i vama! 😊🐾

I’m not sure I get this approach. I can see feeding formula to the smallest who’s being crowded out from mom. But I don’t why formula is being given to all of them. Maybe I’m missing something
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! I understand your concern. The reason I’m giving formula to all the kittens is to ensure that everyone gets enough to eat, especially with such a large litter. Last year, a couple of kittens didn’t get enough milk from their mom and became very weak, so I want to avoid that happening again. By supplementing their feeding, I’m trying to make sure every kitten stays healthy and strong. It’s all about giving them the best start in life! 😊

Have you weighed each of these cute kittens to see if they are gaining weight after being so nicely fed by you and by Mama cat too, I presume?
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Of course! 😊 I’ve been keeping a close eye on their weight, though I don’t always capture it on camera. It’s so important to make sure they’re all gaining steadily. With the combination of mama’s milk and the extra feeding I’m giving them, they’re all starting to grow stronger each day. Thanks for asking and for caring about these little ones! 🐾💖

Baby lulu how is she doing
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Thank you for asking about Lulu! She’s doing well and eating with a good appetite, though she’s still a bit smaller than her siblings. I didn’t include all of her feedings in this video because some of the footage didn’t turn out well, but rest assured, her health is my top priority. I’m making sure she gets everything she needs to grow strong! 😊💖

@sleetkitten3 ай бұрын

The kittens are adorable but a couple of things should be on your radar: a lactating cat is producing a lot of milk and if kittens don't feed from her as often as they should then her nipples will get engorged and painful, she will be uncomfortable. I know you want to help the mom but ensure that you're not doing her a disservice in the long run. Also, cat moms can sometimes give up on licking the kittens bottoms to help them excrete if they are formula fed because the formula can change the composition of the kitten's poop and make it a distasteful flavour for the mom whereas her own milk doesnt. I have seen constipation happen in kittens because of this. I know you are helping them go, but you can't help them every time during the day.

Leave the cat alone. Let the cat do the job. Let the nature work. What the stupid people
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
I understand where you're coming from, but my intention is to make sure all the kittens get the care they need, especially with such a large litter. Sometimes nature needs a little help, and I'm just trying to support the mother cat to ensure all her babies are healthy. It’s all about giving them the best possible start in life. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

You are not helping but disturbing mother cat
@sleetkitten2 ай бұрын
Thank you for your concern. I understand your worries, but please know that I only feed the kittens three times a day, and little Lulu gets extra help every four hours because she needs it. The rest of the time, their mother feeds them herself. Not all cats have the same amount of milk or strength to care for a large litter, so I’m just giving her a little support to ensure all the kittens grow up healthy and strong. My goal is to help, not disturb.
