I couldn't help but notice how well behaved the children are. Way mature for their ages. The work ethics are in place because their very lives depends on it. I saw wonderful compassionate intelligent people who love, suffer, are sometimes lonely but above all survivors. I promise each one of those people know what it is to go hungry. Powerful documentary. God bless those people.

I grew up in the countryside, with family members, yes, farming is hard. We just grew food and reared some animals but thank God there was no roaming around. No contact with the outside world, and we did not care really, except if someone fell ill, but my father and his parents made home-made medicine even for snakes, scorpions and tarantulas bites. It worked. They did purchase certain things, like flour and oil in large quantities, so they did not have to miles and miles to the store. I loved the forests as a child, we played a lot in the rivers, we ate fresh food and had fresh clean water and rain water was safe to use back then. Now the water has chem-trails stuff in it. But, eventually many people left the countryside and other people came and chop down the trees and the river is just like a drain now. I wished I had a camera back then to take photos.

What a wonderful documentary! It gives us a peek at the lives of people who have lived in isolation in the mountains. That young girl who guards the sheep and goats as well as hauling in what looked like sage brush, was SO sweet! All the kids were very cute and the women were amazing hard workers. The loads some of them carried, and the children too, would have buckled my knees! If they do put a road through connecting the villages, I hope that it brings some help (farm tools/equipment, etc.) for them, not problems.
