Hmm..the Columbus story somewhat explains the indication of people's mix up.. Remember that he did not discover anything. He just documented and in doing that documentation he made a whole lot of mistakes and confusing the rest of human society and population ... It's a long sad story actually. And eventually they traded the gold for things like small mirrors or combs etc... And if that was not enough they started stealing and killing them for gold, pearls and other valuable items and skills

Otogo (hope I got this correctly) has a very well trained body and a high muscle mass and also higher body fat than many indiginous people in the Amazon. I suspect that due to his contact with the so-called "civilized world" (for want of a better term), he has a higher protein intake. Indiginous people of the rain forests often appear to me like they have a lower muscle mass which I think is due to the low availability of animal protein in the forests. But this may in fact be a healthier lifestyle as protein restriction and especially methionine restriction from animal protein (which is scarce in the rainforest) has been hypothesized to prolong human life span.
