FanTASTIC!!!! I was looking at doing some kind of puzzle project for my 9 year old nephew for Christmas . He loves 3D puzzles but I wasn’t finding anything that really fit what I wanted for him . This right here just solved my problem. THANK YOU!!! PS. Can’t wait for your BLtouch set on your Ender Pro!

I thought What! Have Fusion 360 added a slicer? Turns out I was way off .... not for the first time either :-) Great video Michael, I'd never heard of this before, always good to know whats out there, and how to use it. I'll give it a try when time allows.

I've browsed them on their website. They seem pricey. 3D printing nerd Joel did a video a while back that wasn't very flattering.

You could use this software to make model airplane's wings. That could then be wrapped up in another material.

I am wanting to create a large (like a 1m statue) of a rhinoceros using an ender 3. I am trying to find software that can easily cut my model into many smaller printable parts that i can then put together after. Would this sort of software work for something like that. From watching- it seems so but would like your opinion on what you think is best

Hi Micheal I've been using this program for a while now, fantastic for designing obscure household objects. 3D Head sliced (as in Fusion slicer) and lit from any angle. Could start a small craft/design business?
@TeachingTech6 жыл бұрын
I agree there is potential for a business because the finished products are so compelling. Best would be ply, acrylic or cardboard with a decently powered laser so the job is fast and efficient.

TT... Does it work as a stand alone; or do you have to access it thru Fusion? I downloaded the Zip file but too chicken to hit the .exe untill I know more...

Hi Teaching Tech, could you help please, I bought 1 of your file was in the process of installing my BL Touch but I wired it wrong with the 3 pins, and fried my board... Do you recommend replace the board and the LCD screen too or just the board? Very sad day
@TeachingTech6 жыл бұрын
Maybe take the chance to upgrade the mainboard if you have the knowledge. Then you escape the 1284P size limit.
@mza1979m5 жыл бұрын
Slot Offset doesn't seem to work as you describe. The little footnote in your video says, "Please raise above zero if your fit is too tight". I think there's a bug in the program. The higher I raise the Slot Offset, the tighter the fit. And putting a negative number in that field has no effect at all on the design. They have it so that it's actually possible to make the slot smaller than the thickness of the material, but never the other way around, which makes absolutely no sense. Have you not found this to be the case? Or maybe this is a new bug that made its way into the software after you produced your video? I've been able to work around around the problem by simply going into my 3D printer slicer and decreasing the size of all my parts only on the z axis by the amount required for my tolerance.
