I just bought bigger wheels and even though I made great slides on 80mm, this video gave me the technique to slide confidently on 110mm. Can't wait to make my video on slides as well. Thx for the great video ;)!

why anti rock setup on wheels? is it better for slalom?

Are your skates anti-rockered?
@andrew_spicy5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it helps to better enter the slide. Lifehack for rollers)

how long does it take to learn a parallel slide?
@Inmoveskates4 жыл бұрын
It depends where are you now. If from 0 and you have just learned Powerstop(powerslide), then maybe 8 skating days would be enough to start using parallel slide. While just to do smth similar, but 1 meter long you can even in a first day after you have mastered Powerstop. But use protection(knee, wrists and helmet) as it will really help to learn faster.

Why the red wheels in the middle are smaller? you are basically skating/sliding on 2 wheels only, right?
@Inmoveskates5 жыл бұрын
Kiril Lukiyan it’s anti rockered setup. Almost the same as Flat, just more control, but harder to start the slide.

Clear tutorial, but it seems somewhat silly to demonstrate this with an anti-rockered setup, most ppl who try to learn this will either use a flat or banana setup ;o

Just gotta find that smooth surface to practice it without having your thighs covered in road burn for 3 weeks after one unsuccessful attempt...
@drescherjm4 жыл бұрын
That is why I always wear knee, elbow and wrist guards. Also I only started practicing these types of things when I learned how to fall and land on my protective gear most of the time. I do wear a helmet every time, thankfully it has no scratches on it at all, however its good to know that its there..

@@drescherjm none of the things you've listed are necessary for parallel slide and none of them protect you from road burn on the side of your shins/thighs. Good shitpost tho
