SNOW! I've never ever seen so much of it! I have in fact made a snowball before because once when I was very young it snowed in Georgia and everyone closed down and the state stopped. But I'm 29 and never been sledding. I want to sled. It looks so much fun! :D

Well, I don't care how long it takes to be honest. It's just nice to see your stuff. I've been very jealous at the beginning of the video, because there is no snow in Germany yet and I love sledding so much. But since it was your first time I guess it was well deserved.

Heh. And did you also go, in your best Crocodile Dundee accent, "That's not a hill, mate... THIS is a Hill!" while pointing to something that would scare the snow suit off a luger? As a kid, I went hills affectionately named things like "Spine Twister", "The Decapitator Busted" and my fave, "The Kidney Jostler". The Decapitator Busted had a rusty old barbed wire fence at the bottom that you either better be good at limbo or you better have a ton of layers on around your neck and throat. Or just don't go on that one. Not even my cousins would have faulted a person for skipping that one actually. I almost got scalped from the wire one year. As it was, I wore some pretty impressive scars for a while where the barbs scored my forehead, through my hair and mangled my hat. Ah those were the days. [le sigh]

You really want the snow to be deeper before you sled, at least another three inches. Generally recommended that you only do winter activities on eight inches of snow, since then it's higher than the majority of bumps and ridges so you don't have as many bails or bumps.

unfortunatly that doesnt always happen so you take what you get
