I don't like using the extra monster zone for something that isn't a Link Monster, so I have no problems with that rule.

Never play any non-link monster in the extra monster zone when you have link monsters in your Extra deck *period.* Not only will it block you from summoning link monsters unless you get rid of said monster for Link monsters, but there's also the fact that anything put in the Extra monster Zone is susceptible to that one Chimeratech Cyber Dragon card that steals them as materials for its summon!

I remember when Paul faced Alec in the Slifer vs Ra duel he played a similar deck and it was very funny bc he had basically infinite resources and a lot of fun gimmicks to get around Ra's power and he really used the deck very well. So is fun to see him against this

Was playing master duel, other guy’s necrovalley resulted in neither of us being able to play, due to his moon mirror shield and my scrapiron scarecrow. We were hand trappin back and forth essentially the duel lasted till turn 59 when he normal summoned nibiru to break the stalemate and then I heart of cards drew into my raigeiki allowing me to win.

An FYI, since Slifer would reduce Cyber Dragon's ATK down to 100, you could've special summoned one in ATK mode and used Machine Duplication (this is assuming you run 3, but even if you only run 2, Machine Duplication is only up to 2 others) Alternatively... you didn't normal summon on your first turn, you could've summoned Core and used Machine Duplication on that after you got rid of Slifer
