@@undutree you really just run 2 of each of the kings court supports for the trio. (Joker's knight, Arcana Triumph Joker, Joker's Wild, Joker's straight, and court of cards). A few hand trap staples (Ash and Nibiru) and 2-3 Honest can sometimes closeout games. But the fun comes by OTK ing with Utopia double/lightning since Joker's straight locks you into light warrior extra deck monsters. The rest of the deck is whatever really. Prosperity over desires since you need those extra copies of the knights.

Its a pretty fun deck to play once you get used to it, but i creating a varied Extra deck of light type warrior monsters (1 or 2 Xyz monsters, 1 or 2 Link monsters, etc) to help out in situations where you aren't able to combo into summoning the bigger monsters

35:18 He missed the opportunity to chain slifer's effect to Ra's summon, reducing its attack points by 2000.

He also missed Slifer's effect when he summoned the monster during the battle phase. Also, Slifer's effect is a trigger effect, so it will always activate, not by choice, when a monster is summoned in attack. Basically, Ra should have been at 2000 attack, and the other monster should have been instantly destroyed the moment it hit the field in attack position.

Ra has the same effect as slifer meaning cards and effects cannot be activated when Ra is summoned. Ra does not lose 2000 atk points

I honestly love how ra plays, it essentially gives you an unstoppable monster with the right cards played, but if you take one direct attack you essentially lose, so it feels like taking on a God but you don’t have to worry about struggling after it’s been defeated since you’ve already taken on the biggest challenge

I feel like the greatest troll would be to just play a card like Jinzo #7 that allows you to attack directly regardless of monsters when faced down with Ra. Of course, this would require you to know you're going up against a Ra deck.

"Joker's Straight" discard is PART OF THE EFFECT, and not a cost. That was made so the "Joker's Wild" Trap that copies the effect wouldn't be costless. Just pointing it out.

@@luminia1377 It takes a while, but eventually you learn that there are a handful of effects that a lot of cards just repeat. The card either usually negates, destroys, or special summons. Once you get used to it, you can summarize their wall of text as a combination of those three common effects.

First off, I legit really like you guys. Just now finding this channel and as a near 30 year old man, I will openly admit that I consider the Egyptian God Monsters to be the absolute pinnacle of coolness. It's safe to say, the moment I saw the intro you guys put together, it looked like you guys know how to have fun and not give a damn to show that you like what you like, you got an instant subscribe from me! I will say though, I've always wished they had a "non official" version of the God cards that let you use much more overpowered abilities with them. They should legit be capable of wiping out planets at once imo. Obviously it's Yu-Gi-Oh, so at most they can only go up against 5 monsters, but like maybe they should have the ability to just instantly destroy anything that has below 4000 atk/def as long as they are on the field. It would be like the effect of their "godly presence/aura/pressure" that just wipes out anything that isn't sufficiently powerful. But IMO what we really deserve is an action RPG in the essence of a souls game or elder scrolls game where Yu-Gi-Oh monsters are controllable as a summon maybe, or maybe you can control their power to cast spells based on the monster, and monsters like the god cards, exodia archetype, sacred beasts, wicked gods, heroes, blue eyes archetype, legendary dragons, etc. should all be included as possible summons and enemies, so that we can really get a feel for the power of all these monsters. ANYWAYS... my long-windedness aside, I sincerely enjoyed this whole thing, I sincerely enjoy the enthusiasm you guys have and the respect you guys seem to show the Slifer and Ra. Since I grew up watching seasons 1 and 2 of Yu-Gi-Oh on TV, I got to watch the god cards in their peak, seeing the place mats and the themed t shirts, the decks completely built around each card...the whole thing makes me want to watch the battle city ark again xD thank you both for this, I'm gonna watch every one of your god card duels and probably quite a few more
