thank you. i recall this stage tested my patience with those damn vines coming out of the walls at the last possible second. i would think- "ok i memorized where they all are." then bam. forgot one. I guess this level might be the ruins of the jungle base of the Repliforce one destroys in X4, I know it might had been the developers of the game just reusing old stuff but those destroyed trees and the part of the level in which fights Rosered might be what is left of that base and also might explain the boss here acts like a petty thief instead of a special forces operative he was scavenging whatever was left of the Repliforce's stuff.

X5's music really is underrated af. up there with mmx1's ost, imo. capcoms sound team was always top-tier, dating all the way back to mm2 and ducktales for the nes. capcom always, always delivers solid music.
