Great advise about the vinyl!

Nice review. The little jubilee clip wouldn't really go at the top of the pipe where you originally thought. I'd imagine it would go round the hose to give extra security when it's fitted to the bottom of the pipe.

Will the staineless steel pipes attach to a traditional tank with lid? Without the lid of course
@TankTastic3 жыл бұрын
With the traditional lid, the acrylic brackets that comes with the ss pipes is a tight fit.

What brand are these pipes?

maybe a stainless steel screen/mesh would also help for that skimmer, you can ask for any surplus from those fabricating companies since you really won't need a lot.

I have a ADA 300 Jet filter smallest size with ADA glass Lilly pipes…. Will these fit for my filter? Thanks
@TankTastic2 жыл бұрын
I dont think it will, your hose size may be too small. I mean you can force it on there or use a adapter to go from smaller hose to larger hose

question as I am new, I have just started my tank. Is it safe once you have added prime to your water to have your hands in there working on bits, is it a safe chemical? I am changing water every day as it’s a new heavey planted c02 tank and using seachem prime everyday is it safe should I have been wearing gloves .So new just looking for tips on how to work with different things
@TankTastic3 жыл бұрын
Yea its just dechlorinates and removes ammonia and makes ur water fish safe. You can work in the water. You wc everyday because the substrate leaching too much ammonia?

@TankTastic3 жыл бұрын
@@domesticcardetailing8295 yea go with it see how it goes. I personally follow ur wc method if I use nutrient rich substrate thats leaching a lot of nutrients.

The steel one are easier to clean them, think we right? Have a nice Day!
@TankTastic3 жыл бұрын
I mean, yes and no. Glass easier to see and therefore you clean it. Steel you dont see the dirt as much so you clean it less often. But algae do attach better to metal though because metal is still somewhat more porous than glass.

This design looks like a wier overflow design. If they reduced the outer diameter pipe it would likely be much louder and if someone was using it as an overflow instead of just a outlet to a filter it might break the suction. I just ordered one thanks to your video. There's so little information that your video is one of the most informational sources I found.

Thanks for that info! Well let me know how you like it.
