The fish monsters are such a great addition. Halloween just didn’t feel the same when Valve stopped adding new PvE elements to their event maps. Best of luck to you this October.

Would it be possible to make those enemies able to be affected by knockback with vscript? A big issue people don't like about NPCs using the skeleton template is that they can pretty much rush through anything in order to hit you if you don't kill them fast enough, even if you would've otherwise done a good job at keeping them away. Other than that, this looks absolutely amazing and I'm excited as hell for this Scream Fortress.

It's something we're going to look into, for sure. Right now they stop to do the new spew attack, which makes them very vulnerable, at least, so they aren't just always steady charging like skeletons

@@UEAKCrash that's cool. Another idea is to reduce the damage dealt by skeletons, since they attack immediately when touching players :P

I think it would be neat if this theme was shared between a couple of maps and the update could have a mini theme. Selbyn comes to mind, where the teams feed body parts or elder signs to shoggoths summoned through a portal. I once also suggested that Snowbase could be themed similarly to this, but I believe Ido already has/had a Halloween theme planned. Including earnable cosmetics like a salmann head (get a regular version for playing, can get a strange version from crates). Would be really cool, but would probably mean skipping over this Halloween. As well, the fallout from the invasion debacle probably taints its chances…

It's a CRIME that none of the maps you worked on made it into the Summer update, especially since your open letter was the catalyst for that whole update as far as we know. The only way Valve can repent is to add this map for Scream Fortress this year. They got no choice! It's locked in, I tell ya!

In my limited experience, that usually because the skeletons are too spastic and skinny. Incredibly hard to hit with bullets. These guys are bulky and colorful. Easy to hit.
