These Sling’in it chats are great, you guys just helped me a lot just by saying if you don’t try you don’t know…..I suffer badly with lack of grip due to advance carpal tunnel, so pinching either side of the ammo to get a clean release is a struggle, after shooting even after a short while I can’t feel the ball bearing due to bad pins and needles…. So after you both saying if you don’t try you don’t know, I went down the garden to the catch box earlier and tried gripping completely over the pouch, which made it so much easier to hold everything steady….. Expecting massive speed bumps and wild shots, I surprised myself with very clean releases annihilating a sardine tin and a 40 mil spinner at 15 and 10 m….. Like you say if you don’t try you don’t know, loving these videos…. Many thanks keep them coming please !

The fact that you mentioned accents as a way to identify the area that someone is from is amazing. Don't let the recent Irish gov't pollute that with non-Irish. Sorry, I know this is neither the time or place, but Irish are being replaced, and I'm not even Irish, I'm English. Let that one sink in. Also, the fact that you are consistently hitting 'lower and left' (or wherever you hit consistently) is actually a GREAT thing, as all it takes is a minor adjustment to put you on the mark. It';s the learning curve of what works and applying that 100% of the time.

I've really enjoyed these sit downs and i personally would like to hear more about how to get into the mindset of tournament shooting , blocking out nervousness and how to get speed from a short draw such as 2 8" ... not only speed but maintaining accuracy

I realize this an older video, but as a new watcher just wanted to add something to your up and down shooting. Archery and slinging have some similarities, so one of the tricks when bowhunting, is not just to bend at the waist, but also buckle a knee slightly inwards. From a treestand shooting down, let your lead knee come towards your rear knee while tilting, and from ground up, rear knee towards the front knee. Helps keep your more of your body in a straighter line in your stance. Enjoying the videos and learning to sling!!

I'm loving this series! I would like you to concentrate ( for a portion) on a discussion on the merits of hunting with 8mm ammo. I hunt with 11mm, but always have to carry two set ups and more ammo etc. I just can't bring myself to shoot at anything other than birds with smaller ammo, BUT.... I want to be convinced😊.

Do competitions have a set size ball you have to use or can we use what's most comfortable?
@S.Y-a-ok Жыл бұрын
If this channel gets popular enough and I've no doubt it will. You could take it on tour? If you attend any of the competitions. It would easy enough for you to organise interviews or visit any places of interest relevant to your blog. Be well, Chris. P.S sit on the other side of the fire next time 😉

I’m having a hell of a time fine tuning my shot I can hit a 8 in circle at 15 yards but I just can’t figure out how to get it better to hit bottle caps . I want to hunt with my Hornet from Zackery Fowler but I don’t wanna hunt till I’m good enough. So I am trying and practicing daily.
