The simpleshot .4 was stupid power ha ha . I was shooting 32-22 mm tapers with 9.5mm steels chasing power at one point. Total overkill!!! Nathan masters is doing some really in depth tests of late,imo the most technical and scientific band testing to date.,he is eliminating the human error element of the testing too. Really good to see. Another good watch lads!

Great chat, love the references to the old days. Game keeper John with those treble therabands, I'd be shaking like dog shitting peach pits trying to hold that at full draw. LOL I did shoot the double therabands and latex, shooting the simple shot black now, gotta support Nathan, plus they're damn good bands. I also figured out I'm in the wrong business! I need to load up the biggest suitcase I can find with hand warmers and head across the pond!

Question for the next one: Could you go into detail on how you came up with your slingshot design? And what details were important for you to include?
@mrln247 Жыл бұрын
When doing metal casting there is shrinkage from the metal cooling which has to he factored in when doing acurate casting, depends on what your actually after. Maybe they are taking a little more off for flaws aswell.

Hi lads love the content, very educational and interesting. I am also from N.Ireland and was wondering would use ever think about setting up a slingshot club or a few shoots throughout the year as i am sure use lads know there is no where for a group of lads to meet up in N.I and have a bit of crack shooting the slingshots and having a chat with lads with the same hobby. Would be good to hear ur thoughts on that lads. Anyway keep up great videos and keep er lit.

you need to watch the scout x mark selgan interview from simpleshot... Nathan from simpleshot talks about how premium simpleshot black is made.. its actually only made at certian times of the year because it effects consistency....

Hey Guys, Great channel and excellent info. complete beginner here just getting into it, I purchased a Scout X pro on a spur of the moment sort of thing (hasn't arrived yet) now thinking I didn't need to spend that much at the beginning but nvm. Any feedback with using one? I've also ordered 8mm steels and x6 .6 20/12 tapered 180mm length. I have a 90cm draw length. I'm 6'4" and will set up my active length between x5 - x5.5. once I have gotten used to using a slingshot, with a more relaxed set up. I decided to go for the Scout X pro because it was highly recommended and versatile i.e Flat, loop and tube bands, OTT and TTF and also a variety of grip styles to try out and see what works for me, not to mention it should last a lifetime being CNC cut. my question is. Should I go ahead and start out with it and learn as I go or try some cheaper one's to start with? I won't be game hunting until I have the fundamentals down and feel confident to make the kill clean, so just lot's of target practice for the foreseeable future.
