Love this technique. My last live coach kept saying,"use your big body muscles". No wonder I lost so much club head speed. Can't wait to get to Florida to work on this!
@EricJD196615 сағат бұрын
I agree. What I finally realized is that “golf strength” for the big muscles really translates to: is does your body- legs/core/torso- have the strength required to respond and support to the speed you swing the club with your ARMS! At some point when a person swings faster than one’s body can support- they lose balance. So Andrew’s preaching about “putting 25% of your all out effort into your back pocket” is pure gold! I believe Andrew has really taken the teachings of those that talk about swing the golf head or club to the next level by showing us what so many of us do wrong based upon trying to use our bodies to create speed.

Great video Andrew please do a similar one with the driver, I can do this with my irons but really struggle with the big dog!! cheers

I have a few Driver vids on the channel!! You just have to feel like you’re de-elevating slinging a little earlier than the irons!! I’ll be doing more driver vids as time passes. Get after it! Best, A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

Thanks for making concise, informative videos. So many guys are posting 30+ minute videos with half of it being fluff. Ain’t nobody got time for that! Also, helping the average golfer and not asking us to replicate pro moves that most of us can never do.

I’ve never once been able to get into 5th parallel, after watching. I tried what you instructed from 4th to 5th and walla I was able to do it and at the same time , my downswing and impact seems to have gotten better because know my brain knows where I need to end up (5th parallel) it fixes so many things. Am I crazy??

I bought a Hackmotion and have been trying to make an impact with reasonable flexion. Applying this video, however, has resulted in an impact with too much extension. How can I bring these two issues into harmony? Thanks.

Awesome instruction Coach! Just a fantastic feeling when you get it all synched up. You are correct that this is a strangle feeling and it took me a while to get the left side of my body flexible enough to do this. Truly effortless speed for free!

As I at age 77 your swing mechanics are a great help. Seems like now my arms pull my body through rather than the other way around. That feel has helped immensely.

How it is different than flipping the wrist causing hooks?
@AndrewEmeryGolf13 сағат бұрын
Rotating the forearms requires expansion past the ball! Flipping the wrists comes the lead arm to stall too early as discussed! Best, A. 🏌️♂️⛳️🙏🏻

Ive been using your sling method for several years. I just never knew it by the "sling" name. I started using it to protect a bad knee, and pretty much figured it out for myself for that reason. The onlt difference is I use more of a palm grip, and less fingers. At 72, I dont hit the ball as far you, but my accuracy is way better than average at 100 yards and closer. Thanks for showing others your video.
