Slinging Mud with The Mud Slingers in the Thetford Forest!

When you get invited out for a day green laning in the Thetford Forest with The Mud Slingers....... it's hard to say no........ so I didn't!!!

Digging holes on the rights if way whither wheel spins, wheelies on the road and lanes, generally glorifying fast lane riding will get us decent lane users banned as well as the twits that think they are hot shot MX riders. Please, calm down, go to mx practice tracks,or if your brave, enter closed circuit mx or enduros.

Well, I do have little trip through the Alps booked in for later in the year and we are planning a bit of off-roading during that, so it's going to be seeing the dirt again soon!

Not a single Green Lane to be seen. More ruts and mud afterwards.

The bomb hole 4 minutes in is off-piste (illegal to ride there).

Also there used to be cameras in there. A few section 59's on there way I possibly. The local idiots got some. And yes, even if you live out of the area they can now be posted to you.

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't realised that, we were being led by a local guy, but I'll bear it in mind if I am ever in that area again, cheers. I don't remember seeing any signage or cameras there indicating that it was off limits though.

@@TheBoltHoleBiker It's your responsibility in accordance with Section 34 of the highway act not to drive /ride any where other than the highway without land owners permission. The onus is on you to make sure you are legal etc. Forestry England does not allow you to ride in the forest, only on legal byways (BOATS and UCRs through it). Please pass the message on to who ever was leading you on that day.

Exactly, we will lose our rights of way if people use the lanes as race tracks.
