What is the perception there about hunting pheasants, pigeons, rabbits, etc. with slingshots? What about the perception of the use of slingshots?!. There are people saying that we in Korea should regulate their use, or that it is animal abuse, etc.?!. Please answer?.

Wow, this video showcases some incredible slingshot skills in action! The accuracy and precision needed for hunting with a slingshot is truly impressive. It's not just about the thrill of the hunt but also the respect for nature and the environment. Kudos to the hunter for demonstrating great marksmanship while enjoying the outdoors. This video is a perfect blend of adventure and appreciation. Sir can you pin my comment?

The shots outside were with 11mm steel. Only the shot inside was lead, to avoid any ricochets. But here I’m using 25/20 0.85. Usually to hunt in the winter, I use 25/17 1mm. Both bands are Catty Shack ‘Great White’ 👍

Awesome! I was wondering what exactly are you doing when moving the fork up and down just before releasing. I'm guessing that you gage the ammo drop. Would be cool to make a #short explaining that teknique.
@CattyShackHunter2 жыл бұрын
I’m actually twisting a very small amount side to side, to make sure my bands are perfectly aligned together, so one is not sitting behind, or in front of the other, in relation to my eye. I only want to see the top edge of the top band, so doing this allows me to see exactly when the bottom band disappears exactly underneath the top band. Then I know they are perfectly aligned.
@vekebg2 жыл бұрын
@@CattyShackHunter Actually after explaining it that way I realized that I also do that! Haha I'm a new shooter so it's a lot slower movement on my side hence it looks a bit different. Cheers Wayne and thank you for the response.

Heya Wayne sorry to bother you I've been shooting 12mm steel today with the 0.85 great white cut 25/20 but feels really heavy and my accuracy is suffering really badly is there another cut I could get away with I'm only shooting 12mm steel because I can but them from my local shop its a lot easier them buying balls of the Internet and having to wait for them thank you
@CattyShackHunter2 жыл бұрын
A 12mm ball is quite large, so really you will need a 25/20 of 0.85 to throw them well if it’s for hunting. You could drop the taper down to a 22/17, something like that, if you were willing to drop down to 11mm steel. Do you know your draw length, and what active length are you using?
@martinamarie2312 жыл бұрын
@@CattyShackHunter my active is 13cm my draw length is 27 inches I divided that by 5.5 and it gave me 125mm active so for the sake of science I use a active of 130mm but 25/20 feels really heavy its for hunting at short range like 15m would be the max I'd shoot it at but I'm getting loads of hand shake I have watched your vid on shooting a heavy setup and with a straight wrist but still shaking
@CattyShackHunter2 жыл бұрын
@@martinamarie231 your active is too short for Great White. The stretch ratio for Great White is 4.5 - 5, so try your active at 15cm, see how that feels, and adjust from there if needed.

Ferals live in and around populated areas. They’re also easily determined if you’re familiar with the plumage of the various varieties. Yeah, tbh we have spoken about doing a video on ‘branchers’ these are the only ones you’ll want to eat, or some I’m told. But as for a catch and cook video, it isn’t really my thing.
