Thank you for sharing your video, I went to Amazon from your link and bought the trigger that you're using. It works great, I just wanted to add a couple things that might help someone else wanting to try this trigger. If you unscrew the Allen screw at the end of the trigger and replace the spring with half of a ballpoint in spring you will get a much lighter trigger tension. I put a complete review on Amazon about this trigger from your link, that explains my preference for a hair trigger. I really enjoy your videos and enjoy the fun you're having with slingshots. You are a crack shot with a slingshot and with the rifle it is very cool to watch you hunt. Being an older KZbin contributor I can appreciate what you're putting into your videos and I watch all of your commercials to try and help out. Cheers!

Fantastic stuff there buddy love the videos you’re creating. Such talent! Please could you create a video from start to finish / step by step with exact measurements and materials / diagrams etc? Would love to be able to use a slingshot again but can’t since losing a hand and this would be awesome to use. Friendly advice for you too, be sure to keep both eyes open with your dot sight or any other holographic sight, it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to with one eye closed, the dot (or other reticule of choice) should be floating in your vision when aiming down sight and will move crisp along with your point of aim being clear, and don’t worry you won’t see double dot but keep both them eyes open for full effectiveness and sight accuracy.

@hudsonhertz and my mechanism trigger just came in and I noticed it's fixed position is closed. I pull the trigger and nothing happens. The two prons just stay closed any idea how to make the opento fire the projectile

@@spunkflunk I hade one like that, mine had to be loaded in order for it to open. Try pressing your finger in-between the two posts as if your finger was the ball and then pull the trigger, it should open with pressure. If not you may have a bad trigger.

To make the sight in process easier put your rifle in a vice and take your first shot. Without moving the rifle adjust your red dot to the point of impact. Re aim on target and repeat until your sighted in. Should only take you two or three shots

So glad to see this ! I recently purchased an Eshylala Slingshot Release from Amazon for my rifle project, and the steel columns do not automatically open when you pull the trigger... looks like the columns only open up a little if there is a slingshot band in place to shoot--not sure what that type of release is called... I'm sure it has a name other than "not automatic" ? I'll be using an extra air rifle stock from my Weihrauch HW95 that I replaced with a custom stock years ago... good to find a use for the extra stock !

I got that one real popular, cheaper, pot metal slingshot trigger with the chinese writing stamped on top of it. Let me tell ya'. It's nowhere near as nice as the one in this video. I was reading comments across various threads on the Internet regarding this particular style of slingshot trigger, and unbeknownst to me, the better, higher quality one like the one you have, apparently is the "original version" of this design, and all the other cheaper Chinese ones are just knock-offs. I never even knew there was an original higher-quality version. I'm going to buy one now. Thanks for the video upload.

Bro what band with mm and whats the size of ball should be used to make bird dove fall on body short..I cannot aim to head or wing every time

For strictly body shots I would recommend a thicker band, maybe .85mm. And for ammo a bigger steel ball, 10-11mm, or like 9.5mm lead. Band taper 25-15mm. You need more power for an ethical body shot.

without any aiming device , where do you base your aiming sight in a rifle slingshot? by the way does the trigger play a significant rule in the accurraccy of a rifle slingshot ? because my trigger is only DIY and i have a hard time hitting my target.

I’m not sure where to aim without an aiming device, that’s one of the things you have to spend time on and shoot a-lot of shots to figure out. The trigger is very important, I would say get a cheap one on Amazon that still does the job fine. a.co/d/d5oQw1p
