Ooohhh. You conjured up a forgotten memory of “playing” with a pair of these at my grandmother’s house. It was like the distant, chrome plated motorcycle riding uncle of the modern fidget toy world. Stunningly built, sharply dressed, charmingly eccentric, and deep down, there’s a disarming practicality about it.

They are very similar to a pair of Germany made folding scissors my mother had when I was growing up. Such handy little things!

It was this little scissors that sparked the idea for this series actually. It was a small tool that I hardly ever think about that has been a constant in my life and my parents before me. Not enough to do a whole video review on, but totally work a small spotlight.

I keep a pair of Klein electrical scissors in my car. They are very well made and small enough to keep in my center console.
