How to crochet a Slip Stitch (Sl st) and invisible finish
Crochet plushies, easy Amigurumi, basic crochet stitches series:
In this short tutorial you will learn how to crochet a Slip Stitch (Sl st) and how it can be used in crochet and in making amigurumi creations and other crochet work. You will also learn how to do the Invisible finish/invisible end.
Slip Stitches help you to hide colour changes in amigurumi and other crochet creations and are the easiest stitch (besides a simple chain) to crochet. A slip stitch can be used to stabilise the edge of your work, or create interesting features in your creations; from spirals to neat straight lines. The slip stitch really is an easy and useful stitch to learn.
The simple method of creating an invisible finish makes your amigurumi creations look more professional and neat.
