And no matter how good the drummer is I can't stand covers on an electric kit (and I used to have a roland) but yours actually sounds great you must have unlimited options on that thing. Thanks! I usually memorize the track as I’m working on the chart. I have the chart on a screen so I can start recording immediately and very often the final take is me getting through the song for the first time 😄 this took a few tries. Sometimes a lot more. Obviously it’s so much easier if I have practiced the song before. My favorite covers are the ones that I actually practiced!
