Who knows if that was the last time Slipknot played Scissors live - time will tell. If it was, it’d be a fitting way to end it, totally trippy. Corey was screaming completely different stuff during the jam part than earlier on this tour.

This was the song I wanted to hear the most. I’m not the biggest self titled fan (for me personally I like .5 and WANYK way more) but I knew hearing Scissors live would be insane. So hearing it live was an experience I couldn’t put into words apart from I think that hearing it live is better than hearing it on the album. Thank you Bahomar for uploading the performance I got to see live so I can come back to this for as long as it’s on youtube

I was only 4 years old when they toured the first album so never got the chance to see prime knot and knew this night would be the closest I’d ever get to it. I was right down the front level with Corey and every minute of it was indescribable. Been a fan my entire life and seen them multiple times but nothing will ever top this show, it was everything I’d hoped for and more. Experiencing my favourite song live in all its chaos with the improvisation and Corey slamming down the mic at the end will stay with me forever. So grateful to have been apart of such an amazing crowd. I cannot express my gratitude to you for allowing me to relive this special night in such quality. Thank you so much Bahomar!

I’m glad to hear that. I was lucky enough to see them live during their prime and on the tours over the last two decades. I have to say, this tour comes the closest to matching that power and intensity for me. Sure, they need longer breaks now, and the energy level can’t quite reach what it was back then, but as a fan since day one, it feels like a miracle to see Slipknot still going so strong in 2024.

A bold take but these live versions of Scissors for the Self titled anniversary about almost outshine the ones back in 1999-2000 when Joey was around. It may not be as overly chaotic as they were but they hold a sort of..chaotically controlled style of chaos from a band more seasoned and matured in their game. I’m very interested in how this new lineup does with new content but I say it’s proof that the Knot is still going strong even after so much tragedy, infighting and loss. Appreciate the rest of the crew and the ones who have formed their name as long as they are around cause we will never get another band like this again ever.

I still remember seeing slipknot the first time ever back in 2015🔥🤘 but watching this now on how slipknot play their shows with the new drummer is just something different. Watching this makes me feel like I’m actually there again!!! This gave me have tears in my eyes!

this was my first slipknot show!!! absolutely not my last, me and my sis dressed up and it felt like such community even in a big arena! i NEEEED this energy on a new album. watching this video made me pay attention to more stuff happening on stage because i was so focused on corey taylor. like mike kicking over the drums was just unreal, it felt like everyone went crazy at the end! does anyone have any idea what corey said at the improv bit, because all i heard was noise. good noise though, amazing noise. its actually mad what he can achieve after 25 years (he's 51!?!?!)

It's a very small, unimportant detail. But I noticed it anyway. Mick wears his sleeves down for the entire 25 tour. He usually always rolls up his sleeves!

@@justicia8393 Yeah, that's just the nature of the song... it has this dark magic that draws you in and leaves you frozen. But apart from that, there was definitely some action... quite a few crowd surfers.
