Probably unpopular opinion, but this sounds better than 1999-2000, Corey’s vocals are much more controlled here, Eloy is beyond amazing, interesting how half of original lineup is gone, yet this is the most Slipknot thing I’ve seen since early 2000s, raw, brutal, but much more mature and controlled.

I completely agree friend, this sounds much better than the version with the "original members" in 2000, and that makes me quite happy.

to me the lack of control was what made their early shows so great, but this is good too

not unpopular at all. 1999-2k era was angry, violent, thrashing chaos with an explosion of emotion and destruction sent in every direction possible. it was raw and in its own right legendary. 2024 is all of that but the scene of brutal indiscriminate power and act of violence being witnessed in front of you has in an entirely unexpected turn of events paused its indiscriminate chaos and destruction and after a moment you realize it has collected itself with horrifying focus, directly turning to face you with deliberate attention like a villain in a horror movie and in that moment everything changes in tone and becomes the most horrifying experience you never thought was remotely possible. everything in this set was a rebirth. arguably the best show they have ever done. the band is without a doubt in the most powerful form its ever been. no one saw this coming.

A experiência que o Eloy pegou tocando com o Sepultura o tornou o baterista perfeito pra tocar as músicas dos dois primeiros albuns do Slipknot, e num futuro álbum ser um mix dos dois primeiros álbuns, com um som totalmente original!

I do kinda wish they’d do the OG setup with Sid and Jeff on the floor and only Eloy on the riser and use lighting like they did in 99/2000 like the spotlights behind the drums, strobes, fire, animals on metal spears haha. Also Eloy needs to get an aluminum snare like Joey did in those days, that thing RANG and ECHOED haha

@@lucas_m16 paul & joey were murdered by numbers.. joey had a 20 year contract that he couldnt complete or buy himself out of. i hate to say but joey had a big cocaine problem he never talked about. a lot of the lyrics in scar the martyr, vimic, & sinsaenum were him talking about stuff like that & he delivered the last of his music to us.. its really interesting if u dig into it, because it starts to make sense. they cant openly talk about it, but he hints a lot of stuff in his lyrics. for instance summertime suicide, was about him committing suicide & dying in summer 7/26, which were his lyrics but had wednesday sing it.. also, dead in hollywood (murderdolls), based on the whole cinema act making movies about frankenstein, & all those fictional beings from hollywood & he became part of it. the whole hollywood thing if u know about it.. also, usually they're given 20 years, & joey got signed when he was what 24ish? 25? then died at 46? thats around 20 years. also, his numbers make up 666. 04/26 born, 07/26 died, & aged 46. (clowns number 6) also, clown himself 'killed/ sacrificed' 6 people, he didnt literally kill him but that game works with them pretty much sacrificing themselves, but in magic they consider it as people sacrificing them or something like that.. joey (OD), paul (OD), his daughter gabrielle (OD), & some other shit like that to make 6. its black magic in who the people in charge of in the music industry. if u know what gematria is, thatll kind make u understand a bit more.. his song 'she sees everything' he uses that girl in the video as a metaphor to slipknot. he never had a chance to express himself & instantly just being fired from slipknot, how he was begging for an audience to make money to buy himself out, shivering cause anxiety, all his courage being disintegrated, & if u listen to the song lyrics & his drumming u can feel/ hear/ see the video the frustration, & the girl being buried in the end pretty much was an expression of slipknot being buried (being fired & no longer part of it, like it being dead & he cant join back in it.. also his song 'my fate' listen to the lyrics, its joey expressing shit too. & a lot of his lyrics of sinsaenum talking about sacrificial suicide & shit like that. etc etc etc, if u pay attention itll all click together to u.
