100% agree, TBH I don't know much of their stuff and not a huge fan of the songs I do know but this song I listen to over and over and if you read up about it he deliberately put this song last on the album and particularly that line at the end. I like bands evolving and experimenting - sometimes it can be bad, sometimes good or great. I love Subliminal Verses, and The Gray Chapter is a step-up from All Hope Is Gone which was... eh, I can't say it was terrible but it isn't an album I have revisited often. What I want is Slipknot to deliver an album that blows the shoes off of my feet, because they are still capable. Solway Firth is that. It doesn't feel as polished as anything they've done since Iowa, it's quite raw and very heavy. This is a great Slipknot song. 🤘🏻
