Every member is killing it in this song and you can hear it, Mick and Jim’s speed and riffs, Jay’s blasts and fills, V-man’s groovy bass lines, Sid and Craig with the scratching and effects, Clown and New Guy with the tribal drums and Corey doing what he does best, so many layers that work well.

I have to disagree, this feels very far from Slipknot’s roots to me. It’s not that it isn’t good, it’s just very different. The drums might sound generally heavier now, but the parts are less creative and the tone is compressed so hard that it squeezes the human element out of them. And the guitar tone has unfortunately been declining for years. These guitars sound ridiculously generic. That’s not on the band, the riffs still kick ass, that’s 100% on the engineers and producers.

This song is the hardest shit Slipknot has dropped since Iowa. Literally, this was the most creative and rawest track since then, Corey could have been heavier on the vocals to get a more Iowa or self title sound but this shit is a masterpiece. If they pay more attention to this song and try to make something as raw, creative and even heavier...I see something great from them in the future.

Everyone i send this song to i tell them to listen to it twice, maybe 3 times, there's definitely A LOT going on to unpack. Need processing time. Exactly what ive said.... good im not alone 👍.... But this song ROCKS, i call it "Ttrip-Metal" .....BRAND NEW genre.... only slipknot in a lockdown could create. Also I ALONE should get to name it ...lol ..... I was the first to hear this world wide, (give or take a couple hundred ppl when I saw the view count after the song finished playeing . It WAS as 0 when I played it. I EVEN woke up out of a DEEP sleep then stared right ot my screen which had KZbin preloaded to their channel and at that exact moment it popped up. Thing of beauty....destiny even :) Yea i know im leaving the comment late, i was PROCESSING! ! ! 🤯 🤘🤘🤘 😛😛😛😛

This song has a hint of something from every album. Their latest album, their 2 first ones, even the ones between. I feel like I hear a lot of those tomb bangings similar to birth of the cruel I think which is nice. They even do new things like a black metal blast beat in the pre chorus. Then even a break down at the end this is amazing. It sounds so old yet so new. This is why I love you Slipknot!!
