If you want to help teach people this method in away that is easiest to remember (also how I learned it). It’s always knit off purl on, knit off purl on?? I’m just saying that for me, it was easier for me to not get confused on which way to put the needle in and remember when time for off or on the needle!!?? I was so confused until someone made a video with the knit on purl off and purl off knit on way?? Hope it helps!!!! And bye the way I love this pattern!! Thank you so much for making this video on KZbin!!!👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ lolol

Nice, easy pattern! Love it! Snuggly....just a small tip...for your left-leaning decrease, if you slip the stitch purlwise, rather than knitwise, it won’t be twisted when you pass it over, and hence lay flat and be less bulky and noticeable👍🏻✌🏻💛 Edit: I just discovered your store, and CANT WAIT to order some yarn!!!!! I can’t believe the prices!

thank you so much for you tip, I'm more a crochet, but from time to time I like to knit too. If you have questions about the yarns, on my show, write me from the contact of the home page or on the mail you find below this video.

Use 3D paint to squiggle on the bottoms. When it dries, it will act as non skid soles!

I just watched another video yesterday that had said to use hot glue, same idea I guess. But the paint would be better for color coordination with the yarns color for pattern your using, true!! Thank you for the help and additional idea!!!🎨🎖lol have a good day, peace ☮️ out

Easy Slippers Size 5 needles (6 for slightly larger size) CO 42 st. Row 1: k1 (border) k2 p2 until last stitch k1 (border) Row 2: slip 1 st. as if to purl (border), then continue the ribbing pattern, k the last stitch (border) Continue for 13 rows all together Knit one row (slip as if to purl for the first st., knit the last stitch) Rib again as in Row 2 for 13 rows Cut the yarn, leaving a tail. ……….. Separate stitches for the foot: Slip 14 st. onto “right needle”. Knit the next 14 st., joining the yarn in the first stitch. Turn and knit all stitches (slip the first st. ) on these 14 stitches until the piece is as long as the foot, about 11 cm. Begin the toe decrease: On the next row, pass the first stitch (border), pass the second stitch, knit the 3rd stitch and pass the second stitch over (one decrease). Knit the row until the last 3 stitches. Knit 2 st. together, k 1. (12 st. left on the needle) Knit the next row, slipping the first stitch for the border. On the next row, pass the first stitch (border), pass the second stitch, knit the 3rd stitch and pass the second stitch over (one decrease). Knit the row until the last 3 stitches. Knit 2 st. together, k 1. (10 st. left on the needle) Knit the next row, slipping the first stitch for the border. Knit one last decrease row. 8 stitches left on the needle. Turn and cut the yarn, leaving enough tail to weave in later. Pick up the stitches on the right needle. Using the second color, knit the 14 stitches before the gap. (I weave in the loose yarn end as I go) At the “gap” pick up stitches in the loops along the long side, counting how many stitches you pick up so you can pick up the same amount on the other side. Knit the 8 stitches from the toe. On the next long side of the foot, pick up the same amount of stitches as before. Knit the 14 stitches that are left. (“Thanks God, we are done.”) Knit 6 rows. 1st decrease row: slip 1 st as if to purl, K 2 st. together, k26 st, place marker, *k2 tog. K3* repeat from * twice more (12 st. ), place marker, knit to last 3 st., k2tog, k1 Knit one complete row (with border stitches). 2nd decrease row: slip 1 st as if to purl, K 2 st. together, knit until marker, slip marker, *k2 tog. K2* repeat from * twice more (9 st. ), slip marker, knit to last 3 st., k2tog, k1 Knit one complete row (with border stitches). 3rd decrease row: slip 1 st as if to purl, K 2 st. together, knit until marker, slip marker, *k2 tog. K1* repeat from * twice more (6 st. ), slip marker, knit to last 3 st., k2tog, k1 Knit next row 34th decrease row: slip 1 st as if to purl, K 2 st. together, knit until marker, slip marker, *k2 tog.* repeat from * twice more (3 st. ), slip marker, knit to last 3 st., k2tog, k1 Knit next row Knit to marker, remove marker, k2tog, pass next stitch so you can remove the marker, then put the stitch back on the left needle. Sew the stitches for the bottom of the slipper using the kitchener stitch. Sew the rest using the mattress stitch. Think I got it right.

This looks like fun. I wish you hadn't misspoke so many times about what stitch to finish each row. You say purl but change because you meant knit. Or maybe you meant purl at the end of every second row. It would have been better to take a second to make it more clear.
@lindalangeheine5787
@lindalangeheine5787 2 жыл бұрын
Oops. When you got to the end of the first row, you said to purl the last stitch! Before that, you had said that we need to knit the last stitch and that's what you actually did.
