I had a great white swim up to me and a friend years ago at Looe Key. It got within 4 or 5 feet and turned away. It was as big/fat as a car! Crazy intense.

Being someone who used to fish like a mad man up here in Alberta, when days off or weekends meant hitting the road to go flyfishing in the Rockies, or in the foothills up north for Arctic Grayling, or my favourite the unassuming Yellow Perch that are fine eating summer or winter. Then hunting every fall for Moose and Whitetail Deer to now being disabled and having to live vicariously through folks like you. I never take life for granted and watching you and your family I know you don't take anything in life for granted either. So I appreciate the effort you put into these videos to keep us entertained. I only get out maybe twice a year now to go fishing and I make a point of enjoying fully my time spent in wild places. I have a natural breath hold of over two minutes and can push it another minute if I really focus on it, so I'd love someday to try spearfishing! As for the Great White I'd love to not see one that close. Many years ago when diving in the Sea of Cortez a school of Hammerheads passed over us and it was a really special experience. I hope that Lauren and Albrey don't let a chance encounter with a BIG White shark spoil their love of the ocean. Perhaps though adopting the "Buddy" system isn't such a bad thing going forward Gabe.

The great white might be one tracked by (can't remember the agency) who follow there migration routes! Super scary but once in a lifetime sightings in South Florida while diving. Thankfully they were buddy diving like you said. But....that stew and lobster tail dinner looks AMAZING 👏. Keep up y'alls excellent videos (both of you).You both bring me back to the time when my wife and I grew up in West Palm Beach and lived,worked and breathed to go fishing and hunt for lobster! Big Pine Fishing Lodge in our used camper to renting a house on Doctor's Cut on Big Pine and renting a bigger boat. Love you guys!
