Hello Clumsy, I watch you videos very often (and like them) and wanted to share a thought about a topic that you touched. Yes, the tractor is very important but at the end of the day it is the trailer that do the work to carry the payload and it is very important that the trailer be fit, well maintained and clean (for your customers and yourself!) Someone I know who had a trucking company (carrying cars in his case) was telling me that he would always purchase brand new trailers and purchase used tractors. I agree ,though, that car hauler trailers are more complex than other trailer types but still even a regular dry van needs attention and care from his owner. SCS games may need to improve on some maintenance aspects: cleaning, greasing, annual inspection fees from the DOT (department of transportation of the jurisdiction you are in) and parts to pay for (drums, brake shoes, slack adjusters, S-Cams) insurance cost, service cost (yes already implemented but maybe better detailed??), diesel fuel for the reefer (in this video case you had a reefer and reefer fuels on diesel usually except maybe the newer ones that don't use diesel...) oh well I would need to read more to learn the latest technologies! 😜 Anyway, thank you to allow people to give their opinion about discussed topic and also to do some brainstorming! Still winter here in Romania. If anything, it will start getting colder next week as February was very mild. Last year the trees were still bare even at the end of April, but that was a cold spring.

i am okay with payware, but aslong as you make a reasonable price tag. maximum price for a truck mod atleast 30usd if its mod than that then thats a stretch i wont go to. looking forward to Max sounds recorded from his new equipment, and hopefully open pipe scania is included

Hey Clumsy, thanks for tip to remove roads folder - as the winter is slowly ending where I live, it helps with immersion. However, when it starts snowing, the smoke effect/snow particles that tyres spread when driving is still there. Do you know which file to delete to prevent it? I don't wanna delete the wrong thing. 😅😅

I don't really mind Max going payware either. ETS2 is in dire need of good engine sound mods. Zeemods has set the bar very high by also including interior sound effects in his mods. I used to not mind the stock sound effects, but now I can't stand them 😀 . Zeemods seems to focus mainly on ATS sounds, so Max could really start to fill the ETS2 gap now. MAN is a great start, hopefully we'll see all the other truck brands in the future as well.

I think the truck service system is not the best in this game . A Truck which has fallen in a ditch on its side with a full load would cost around 50k to repair the Cab if we are looking a new parts ! Maybe we can role play that part ? And spend like 50K out of 85K . We can put this truck of repair and service and drive a different truck ( gloover man or Mp4 with interior rework ) for few days with a rental Paintjob on it to role play .

The truck with most customisation other than Fred scania is vadek's daf . But that feels like a downgrade from Fred's scania interms of role play .

thanks for another awesome crash, uhm video :P your complain about the better warnings in ATS is my reason i don't like ATS, those americans think everyone is stupid, so every word, every icon, every sign is written out. 99% of the time the roads in europe are perfectly signed (although ETS2 is failing on some places). e.g. when you rolled, there was a warning of a 'S' bend coming, and you just ignored that :), that's why talking about stuff while driving is not a safe thing to do. but anyway, you wanted a reason for your money hahahaha.
