The truth is, Emperor's Luck is more worth looting than most div cards. You could hide most things and leave those in because they always have a standard value of at minimum 1c. But also selling fine if you price them 1/100 div. It is one of the most profitable common cards, always have been. For years, I even often farmed maps like Courtyard in the past because of the added value from that card. Just see it as minimum 1c each. Most cards do not count as 1c. Hiding cards that award alchemy or fusing orbs obviously is a better idea than hiding Emperor's Luck. Also true for most cards that award uniques nobody wants (except this league, you want those uniques worth a lot in the disenchanter sure). The main thing you do with a filter is narrow it so you do not click things worth a very small fraction of a chaos. When I farm boxes, I heavily filter div cards because otherwise you're continually portaling out because you fill your inventory with div cards that are so bad taking the time to turn them in is a lost on your currency/hour. They reduce your earning from playing the game. But Emperor's Luck should still be visible if you hide 75% of div cards, because it's always a guaranteed value of 1c or more each card. Again, do sell them, it's impossible to open them profitably. Even if you once saw 5 divs, it does not matter. Selling in bulk is how you profit off those. There is always people looking for a stupid but very cheap gamble. They spend 2-3d in cards, get 50-100c back in random currency, not a big lost.

Hey jimmy, do you know if it's actually beneficial to focus on more than one type of scarabs on the tree? Like here you put points on both ambush and harbinger, is it because you KNOW picking 2 is better than picking only 1, or is it just a guess that it's better?

I would assume it works like map favouring. Maths made up as an example. Allocating just ambush is like using one favourite slot to increase the chance to get something you want by 10%. Allocating 2 makes it so you have a 20% increased chance to get something you want. I'm too fuzzy brain to finish the analogy, but since I want ambush and harbinger scarabs it only makes sense to allocate both. More chance to get what I want then if I just did one.

It just increases the weighting of both, and as ambush and harbinger scarabs make up a low total weight of the entire weighting of scarabs, you are better off selecting both. You will get very slightly les ambush scarabs from picking harbinger and vice versa, but way more harbinger scarabs than if you didn't select the node. In Jim's old video (weights won't be exact but concept applies) he got around 400 harbinger scarabs and 400 ambush scarabs out of 10,000. Doubling ambush would give you 800/10400 = 7.69% of scarabs, doubling harbinger too would make ambush 800/10800 = 7.4%. A very small drop.

Why is it better to use 3 Ambush scarabs instead of 2 Ambush scarabs and 1 Ambush Scarab of Hidden Compartments? I see everyone using 3 ambush, but dont you get to open way more boxes per map with Hidden Compartments? With max explicint modifiers I think its 31% chance to reopen strongboxes, and you can reopen the same box multiple times. Can anyone explain?
