Seiko is all over the place with this design, I paid 2700 for my SJE093 so I'm happy with that no more 5-7K Seiko divers for me like the 037, 043, 039 which I sold.

Case, bezel, bracelet, and dial are on par with SLA grade Seikos. Polishing in the hands is not. Movement wise you lose the “hand finishing” but get a high grade movement that can be serviced by any decent watchmaker

This is a great looking piece for sure. My only gripe is the clasp and lack of adjustment. It is the one let down on an otherwise great watch.

Haven’t seen it in person. Looks great though. I think it’s fine if it says marine master because only those “in the know” can purchase a real marine master if that really matters to a collector. The name would not be a real deal killer for me.

It's not worthy of the Marinemaster name imo. Leave that off and it's an OK watch. With it, being only 200m it's an insult.

Original marinemaster name was on a Tuna Quartz, lol. This new marinemaster is actually awesome, and it's the first world production model to have the name attached. It's an incredible watch, but you buy what you like or don't 😊
