Wonder how many fans know that Joe is the guitar player in the background. Had a band for years and played some good blues. Check out Blues for a Rainy Day. Nice cut.

I loved the explanation with the in line design of the bait... made to skim over the shallow weeds. I have a few slopmasters and I knew they did that, but I didn’t make the connection to the design. That was fascinating!! And of course Master Joeda stuck a beast!! Another great one!

I really like the RELOADED series Joe. This video helped me realize what I need to do here in South dakota. The lake I fish is super weedy, with lots of dead trees, and the occasional barb wire fence. It's a junkyard...

Awesome video Joe! I haven’t musky fished long but over this last year especially I have really gotten into Musky fishing with my Dad. We took a trip to the MN side of lake of the woods and fished some local lakes/rivers. So many great memories made and caught a few on the slop master!! I love it for specific jobs like you are saying, river fishing it is absolutely my favorite lure that I’ve thrown so far. For someone watching these videos for the first time I’m really enjoying the reloaded series!

Is there any situation where you'll use a wire leader with spinnerbaits? I've always used one and appreciate the split ring tip.
@JoeBucherVideo4 жыл бұрын
You are more than welcome to use a wire leader with the spinnerbait if you feel the need to do so. I just like the balance better without one and there are far less fouling issues. 👊
@ryansimpson52474 жыл бұрын
@@JoeBucherVideo My leader use is based on a fear of bite offs. If that’s a non-issue, I’ll be fish spinnerbaits a lot more. Thanks for the tip; I’m enjoying this reloaded series! 👍🏻

The Slopmasters I got last year all have the wire going up at an angle rather than being in line with the head/hook/skirt. Is that a recent change, or did Joe make that change to the prototype before going into full production?

This modified wire bend was added later. Works well either way. 😀👊
