What are the dimensions of the different sections and hedgerows? How far apart are they? etc etc

Interval between single-row hedgerows can be maintained at 2-3 metres on steeper slopes for more effective soil and water conservation. If the hedgerows are of double-row then 3-4 m spacing will be ok. We are typically using single-row hedgerows as the size of field is small and in many cases hedgerows are planted in existing plantations of arecanut, orange etc. Double-row hedgerows comprise two rows of nitrogen-fixing plants 50 cms apart.
