I wish squad had more layers/maps/game modes that focused primarily on infantry and light vehicle combat. I’ve always felt that infantry firefights in close quarters is where the game shines best. I really like territory control for that purpose but all anyone ever wants to play is RAAS or AAS.

Yes! A game like Insurgency, (I'm talking about the 2014 game, not the SQUAD gamemode), in SQUAD's style would be epic! Kind of like Six Days in Fallujah, but on a larger scale. You get the tense CQB of Insurgency and Six Days, with the gunplay and teamplay of SQUAD! Also with bots.

I agree, I would also add more modern guns. These m4s are 20 years old, add the HK416, MCX, modern DMRs and other sexy guns with more options for attachments. Its not 2001 anymore and if they don`t make squad2 might as well bring it to the new era of warfare. Also the recoil is awful its is like playing a grunt who never shot automatic. lol

The Canadian Rifleman in Squad is one of the most dangerous CQB threats in the game. A total of 13 grenades counting the ones in your ammo bag makes it a huge anywhere inside throwing range.

Reforger has taken over CQC for me. Nothing like hearing a squad talk about how youre slaughtering them all and they need to hunt you, right before you put a 203 into the center of them lol. Squads just really starting to lack in its realism elements. Really hard to play after playing Reforger. Feels very dull without open local chat. Like fighting NPCs basically.

How long do u think it takes to line up a shot, from running and being out of breath to taking a well aimed shot… I think 4-5 seconds is reasonable….and if u can control the sway better, 3-4 seconds….

@@africanricc3458 not really,20 meters your practically point shooting, actually lining up a shot is unnecessary. Sway is over exaggerated in this game, one of the reasons cqc is so challenging is because the likely hood of getting hit is much higher than more open battlefields. It feels like the gun isn’t actually shouldered at all.

Serious question I need help with Squad - my game after an update 6 months ago or so has stopped working. It is Maxing my GPU out in the main menu causing unplayable stuttering every 2 seconds with nothing being found online to fix this. I do not have the highest end PC but it is very good. Not going to list out specs. I need anybody in the comments to please help find an answer to this cause nothing I’ve seen so far has any results. I don’t know why it using 100% of my gpu. It never did this before the updates way back
