I live in Leavenworth, Kansas with no slot car race track near me, but for just over 18 years now have worked in my house. I entered the Race Across America so for three years my car that I entered was accepted and raced so I know a few things about slot cars. I love this hobby and cannot wait to set up/build my own in 2024. Thank you for sharing your experience

An MX16 is something that I do not understand…it is a 21,500 RPM Motor with a 9 Tooth Inline Pinion and the 28 Tooth inline crown gear. I like the idea of using the 25 Tooth Aluminum inline crown gear. Cleave Tech in the UK Uses and sells a Magnetic Balancer for 66 British. Interesting stuff. Yes, technically that MX-16 is a 23,000 rpm motor at 12v.

Good question. It came with the MX-16, but I 'stole it' for a different car that had issues at the time. Most Slot.it GrpC come with the MX16 as far as I know.
