Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! I have a very clear memory of my grandma making this cookie when we visited her. I believe she used honey as a filling though. I am going to try making them over the holiday season and I can’t wait to share them with my family.

Thank you for your kind message. It depends on how big you cut the portions. I divide the dough into 3 equal portions. I then use an 11” round dinner plate and cut 8 triangular (pie) pieces from it.
