Wlasnie robię swój pierwszy bigos w wolnowarze 😀ja podgotowałam kapusty osobno i potem wymieszałam wszystko z mięsem i kiełbaska podsmażonymi na patelni, zastanawiam się jaki będzie finalny smak 😋

Was the cabbage cooked for 4 hours before you added the other ingredients for the further 8 hrs? I am definitely trying this one. Looks incredible at the end. Plum and cabbage, yum! :)

Too bad your website is expired. I was looking for the recipe. Some recipes use juniper berry's, some use all spice, some combine. I don't know what to choose. Thanks for sharing your video!

Looks delicious. I am going to try and make this next weekend. Ania, will omitting the prune make a huge difference?
@AniasKitchen10 жыл бұрын
it will take away some sweetness and the bigos is going to be lighter in color but it is ok to skip it if you don't like it!

Hi Ania Do you make your own kapusta? Or do you buy it in a jar? If you do buy it, what brand do you buy?
@AniasKitchen10 жыл бұрын
I used store bought but not sure about the brand. I buy different all the time. I like when it is done with wine. If I can find any Polish brand then I will go for it :)

How much all spice is added? I see you added it to the pot but it's not included in the recipe. Or was it juniper berry? I see other recipes add that instead of all spice.

Ania, what is the name of the sausage you used in the video? It looks very different from any type of sausage I am familiar with, it almost looks like a mini-ham hybrid.
@AniasKitchen10 жыл бұрын
lol It is a sausage I can get in my grocery store, it is called Polish Sausage but you can use any sausage except the italian or breakfast one which are not hard enough!

This looks delicious especially the kielbasa.I was wondering what type you used. I have access to some good polish delis in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and I can probably find it there but I'd like to know what that particular variety is called in polish since I would like to get the right thing.

i used just smoked sausage from my grocery store but if I had a choice to get some polish one I would go for Mysliwska. I hope that helps. Ania

Dear Ania. I can hear very clearly polish accent in your language. Especially when you pronounce "r". Good thing is that in some words you say it properly. It is a little bit disturbing for the listener. Maybe you could improve it simply by just pronouncing 'r' rather like 'ar' with an accent on 'a'. I believe that will make your skills much better :) greets

Ania, I love your clear polish accent. It adds a special flavour to your gorgeous mouth-watering polish recipies.

Kathryn Camosy Dear Kathryn, thank you for the reply you sent me on G+. I liked it so much. Let me reproduce it here, for everybody's enjoyment: "You are an idiot. She's not a native english speaker. It's extremely easy to understand her. You are the one that is a bit disturbing." You are right. Twice. 1. She's lovely. 2. I am disturbing. To you. Looking forward to ever hear from you and have a... tasty day! :-)
