There's nothing everyday about this recipe! It looks delicious! I'm only sorry (for a moment anyway) that I'm now vegan, so no parmesan cheese for me (although I do have a vegan alternative that I could try it with)! I have all the ingredients but I had a recipe that insisted it should be cooked on the hob. I really wanted to use my slow cooker for it, so this is perfect - and the addition of cannellini beans ups the protein content. What an excellent recipe! Thank you very much, Amy!

Instead of adding beans, about an hour before done I throw in sliced mushroom and a drained can of black olives. This makes a great pizza topping also.
