Found a seller on Amazon for a couple of those diaphragms, costing all of around £3.50p. Ordered Sunday, arrived Monday, within 20 minutes both my cisterns were back up and running again! Probably saved 50 quid getting a plumber out. Thanks again @@TheRepairer

Got a pack of 3 spares on Amazon. Fitted a new one but was still getting a very slight trickle of water. I ended up putting the new rubber diaphragm from one part on to the original plastic part and now all is good. Thanks again.

​@joeyla2006 I had the same problem and ended up getting a diaphragm from the maker siamp. Better quality rubber. Them amazon ones don't last long.

Great vid. Very clear. I need to order that part. But also it seems like my float was not going up with the water line (I used a watering can to fill the tank) but it only moves when I push it. Any ideas or other videos on this?

It's ok it was me. I knocked one side of the hinges out slightly making it stiff to move. Just waiting for the rubber seal to come and hopefully back to working normally

The float has got to work for the seal replacement to work. it’s difficult to say without seeing for myself I would check if the float is free to move up and down.

Just replaced my washer all went well. Unfortunately the toilet makes a pumping noise from the top of the white round section and carries on filling up resulting in the water going into the bowl

SO IF THE SEAL IS SPLIT. NOTHING SAID ABOUT THAT ,, IT WILL FILL UP AND OVERFLOW IN TO THE TOILET BOWL ,

That didn’t happen in this case it was just slow to refill and water shut off fine.
