I have a post-it- note in my Bible that I wrote a quote on. Not sure where I got it from, but is a great reminder for how I should use the time God has blessed me with. "Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least." I'm going to fight harder to not become distracted by the unnecessary things that can just suck the life out of me, in turn sucking the life out of those around me. To live in the moment, to be an encourager to my husband and children. To truly take the time to listen by stopping what I'm doing and give eye contact. Reminding myself that my God, the Creator of ALL things, who is in control of all things, is Sovereign and knows how this story should go and how it's going to end. The things I have no control over I will give to the Lord and trust in His sovereign will. I pray that the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to God every day. Thank you for your beautiful, encouraging videos.

Thank you for the reminder to make goals one at a time! I myself have been trying to “stack” habits instead of starting all new things right away. It’s a lot less overwhelming and I find I stick to things more consistently that way. Gentleness, in living, with others, and especially with ourselves may mean we move slower sometimes but it makes life much more enjoyable!
