You like that bonafide eve the best? Been looking at a bunch like old town, nucanu, and bonifide mainly.

@gareyscarlett5147 For the kind of water, I like to be on and what I want to get out of a kayak, the RVR fits me perfect. If I was more on flat water instead of moving water the RVR wouldn't even be a thought. When we are trying to help people get into the right kayak, the first question we always ask is what kind of water you are primarily going to be on. Flat or moving water. The reason I picked the RVR over all the others was mainly based on hull design. I seen how much rocker (arc from bow to stern) it had. That let me know it would be easier controlling it threw whitewater. I wanted a fishing kayak, not so much for the fishing but because of the compacity they offer for my camping stuff. The loose primary stability makes it easier to jump into eddies for being an almost 12 ft kayak. Drop down skeg is a big bonus for those flat water stretches on the river. If I were to pick a moving water kayak from Nucanoe it would be the Flint. Jackson it would be the Coosa X (very heave kayak out of water but nimble in the water) or any of the older Coosa's. Crescent would be the Shoalie. Old Town doesn't really make a moving water kayak for what I want out of a kayak. Not at all that they are bad kayaks, but they have more primary stability than what I want out of a moving water kayak. Lol, I can talk about this stuff all day. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. One of the guys I work with at the kayak shop also has a KZbin channel called The Bearded Paddler. His channel really breaks down everything on all the kayaks we get our hands on. Thanks for the view and comment.
