Slow Pitch Jigging for Lure Masters NZ 2023 Competition

Today we fished sunrise to sunset for the NZ Luremasters 2023 competition! An awesome day out with Kaz and Shah, I'll put their instagram links below as they are awesome to follow. We did a mix of softbaiting in the shallows in the early morning, and then headed out to deeper waters of 40-50m for the rest of the day for a mix of Slow Pitch Jigging, Super Light Jigging, and Kabura.
The goal was to catch a mix of Snapper, Kingfish, Kahawai, and Trevally, but a lot of the travel time was choppy, so we didn't make it to our usual spots. Where we did end up, provided a constant catch of Snapper around the 40-50cm size.
